To connect to JioFi network, users must use the SSID or network ID with Wi-Fi on a smartphone or PC. Then type the letters and numbers according to the random principle, like the password, which is quite a task when you need to connect new devices all the time.

The user name and password for each JioFi hotspot device are unique and are printed underneath the battery. Since it is preferable to have a personal SSID and password, here you can change someone with a JioFi hotspot right away.

Step 1: Use JioFi network to connect the existing user name and password.

Step 2: Open the browser and type 192.168.l.l in the address bar and enter.

Step 3: When you get the Jio Admin 192.168.l.l website, click Login in the upper right corner.

Step 4: Enter “Administrator” for the user name and password in the window and select Connect.

Step 5: Select settings directly below the Jio logo at the top.

Step 6: Click WiFi from the left side.

Step 7: Delete the existing SSID and enter your own username instead.

Step 8: Locate the security key from the list and delete the existing and enter Wi-Fi password.

Step 9: Click Apply and OK to confirm the changes.

This process starts JioFi 2, so for two minutes of patience. In the meantime, you are disconnected from the Internet to your existing devices, as well as to all other devices on this network. Once JioFi 2 192.168.l.l is restarted, close it back up the new SSID with the new password and you’re good to go.
